Training That Sticks
Because You Did It Yourself
There are plenty of courses about GPU infrastructure. Tessil is the one where you actually configure it.
Back to HomeSix Reasons Tessil Works
Each of these points comes from conversations with past participants about what they found most useful — and what they wished other training had done differently.
Hands-On Configuration
Participants configure real cluster components, not toy examples. The exercises are drawn from the kind of setups people actually encounter.
Numbered Station Sequence
Content follows a logical bench sequence. Participants always know where they are in the process and what comes next.
Small, Managed Cohorts
Session sizes are kept small so every participant gets real attention during exercises, not just a seat in a room.
Printable Reference Materials
Step cards and reference sheets go home with participants. They're formatted for use at the bench, not for archiving in a drawer.
Programmes for Different Depths
Three programme tiers mean you're not paying for content you already know, or being rushed past content you need to absorb.
Penang Location
George Town is a practical hub for teams based across northern Malaysia. On-site delivery is also available for organisations that prefer to train in their own environment.
What Each Benefit Actually Means
Instructor Experience
Tessil workshops are delivered by engineers who have worked with GPU cluster configurations in production contexts — not professionals who specialise in teaching about things they read. The distinction matters when a participant hits an unexpected state during an exercise: instructors recognise it because they've seen it before.
- Instructors with direct production experience
- Exercises drawn from real configuration scenarios
- Troubleshooting support grounded in experience, not documentation lookup
Lab Environment Quality
The sandbox environments used in Foundations and Applied programmes are verified before each session. Participants aren't working around broken tooling or spending the first hour setting up their own environment. The lab is ready, the sequence is set out, and the session starts on time.
- Lab environment checked before every session
- Consistent configuration across all participant stations
- No setup overhead eating into workshop time
Responsive Support
Enquiries and booking questions are handled by the same team that delivers the training, not a customer service queue. For on-site engagements, the pre-planning phase involves real conversations about your team's context, not a form that disappears into a system.
- Responses within one working day
- Direct line to the training team, not a ticket system
- On-site scoping handled through actual conversations
Transparent Pricing
All three programmes have stated prices. The Foundations Workshop is RM 490 per person, the Applied Setup Programme is RM 1,900 per person, and the On-Site Training engagement starts at RM 4,500. What's included at each level is documented — no add-ons that appear after booking.
- Prices published, not quoted on enquiry
- Programme inclusions documented clearly
- No post-booking additions
Measurable Outcomes
At the end of a Tessil workshop, participants have completed a series of concrete exercises — configuration tasks, validation steps, troubleshooting scenarios. There's a clear record of what was covered, and the reference materials mean that knowledge is available when they're back in their own environment.
- Exercise completion record for each participant
- Reference materials designed for use post-training
- Attendance documentation available for HR or training records
Tessil vs. Typical Alternatives
Most training options fall into one of two categories: online self-study or large classroom courses. Here's how Tessil sits differently.

What You Won't Find Elsewhere
The Bench Station Format
Workshops follow a numbered station sequence — the same structure as a well-run maker space. This isn't just organisational style; it means participants always know where they are and what the next checkpoint looks like. It also makes the reference materials easier to navigate after the session.
Printable Step Cards
Reference materials are formatted for actual use — printed cards that sit next to a keyboard while someone works, not PDFs that look good at 100% zoom and nothing else. Participants leave with something they can put on the bench in their own workspace.
Three Programmes, One Provider
New staff can start with Foundations, experienced teams can move into Applied, and organisations that need on-site delivery have that option too. All three run on the same framework and materials, which makes knowledge transfer within a team more coherent.
Pre-Planning for On-Site Work
On-site training doesn't start when the instructor walks in. A pre-engagement planning phase establishes your environment's specifics, the team's background, and what a successful engagement looks like before delivery begins. This is what separates a useful workshop from a generic one.
