Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 12 May 2025
These terms set out the basis on which Tessil provides training services, and what both parties agree to when an engagement is confirmed. Please read them before submitting an enquiry or booking a programme. By proceeding, you agree to these terms.
References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Tessil, operating from Jalan Burma 188, 10350 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. References to "you" mean the individual or organisation booking or attending a programme.
1. Services Provided
Tessil offers educational training programmes related to GPU cluster setup and configuration, delivered in workshop, multi-session programme, and on-site team formats. Specific scope, duration, and inclusions for each programme are described on our website and confirmed in writing prior to engagement.
We reserve the right to update programme content, materials, or delivery format to reflect current practices, without material reduction to the scope agreed for a booked engagement.
2. Bookings and Confirmations
Enquiries submitted via our website do not constitute a confirmed booking. A booking is confirmed only when we have issued a written confirmation to you and, where applicable, payment has been received.
We will acknowledge all enquiries within two working days. If we are unable to accommodate a requested date or programme, we will let you know and, where possible, propose an alternative.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of materials and resources described in the programme scope. Prices are confirmed at the point of booking.
Payment terms are provided in the booking confirmation. For Foundations Workshop and Applied Setup Programme bookings, full payment is due prior to the first session. For On-Site Team Training engagements, a deposit may be requested upon confirmation, with the balance due before delivery begins. Payment terms for on-site engagements are specified in the engagement agreement.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking, please notify us as early as possible in writing.
- Cancellations made 14 or more calendar days before a scheduled programme start may be eligible for a full refund or a credit toward a future programme, at our discretion.
- Cancellations made fewer than 14 calendar days before the start date may result in the forfeit of any deposit paid. We will review each case individually and aim to offer a reasonable resolution.
- Rescheduling requests are accommodated where operationally possible and subject to availability.
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a programme if minimum participant numbers are not met, or due to circumstances outside our reasonable control. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund of any amounts paid.
5. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have any prerequisite technical familiarity described in the programme overview. Tessil is not obligated to provide remedial instruction outside the agreed programme scope.
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with instructors and other attendees throughout. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose conduct disrupts the learning environment, without refund.
Any equipment, systems, or credentials participants bring to or use during a workshop remain their sole responsibility. Tessil does not accept liability for data loss or system issues arising from exercises conducted in personal or organisational environments.
6. On-Site Engagements
For On-Site Team Training, you agree to provide a suitable training environment, including adequate space, power access, and any requested connectivity, as specified during pre-engagement planning. Delays caused by the client environment that affect delivery may impact timelines without entitlement to a refund or extension.
Confidential organisational information shared with Tessil during planning will not be disclosed to third parties and will be used only for the purpose of preparing and delivering the engagement.
7. Intellectual Property
Training materials, handbooks, reference sheets, and lab guides provided by Tessil remain our intellectual property. You may use them for your own internal reference and learning, but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or publish them without our written permission.
Nothing in these terms limits your use of skills and knowledge gained through participation in a Tessil programme.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our programmes are educational in nature. We do not make representations about the outcomes of applying any knowledge or configurations discussed in our training in your specific environment. You are responsible for verifying the suitability of any approach before implementing it in a production or operational setting.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you in connection with any programme shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific programme. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.
9. Privacy
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. By booking a programme or submitting an enquiry, you confirm you have read and understood how we use your data.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. We will, where reasonable, attempt to resolve disputes amicably before formal proceedings.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The current version will be available at this URL with the date of last update shown above. Terms in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to that booking.
